We got ourselves a convoy

We left the boat this morning, and joined a convoy of over 60 buses to cross the desert to the Red Sea. Police escort, sirens, the works. Apparently in the high season, the convoy grows to over 300 vehicles, and stretches for 60 Km. All cross traffic is held while it goes by. No wonder they aren't keen on tourists in the hinterland.
