A little power is a dangerous thing

It's taking me some time to get the hang of it,
but my new computer sure has horsepower.

Thank You

Thanks to all our sponsors.

Fat Tuesday

If we celebrated Lent,
our debaucheries would be better explained.
Many beads changed hands, under false pretenses.
I think i can safely say,
a good time was had by all.

I spoke too soon... again.

For up to date coverage of our itinerary
check out Laura's Blog.

Poor Laura...

After hosting a wildly successful Mardi Gras party at the Picanteria, Laura worked the phones with India...
At least THAT destination seems pretty solid..

New Itinerary

For those following along at home,
now it's India
and Thailand.
For sure, this time.

Product Endosement ?

Sharon picked up my ringing phone, flipped it open,
then dropped it in the coffeepot full of water that she uses to clean brushes.
It came out of complete submersion, connected and working.
Yay Samsung.
UPDATE:
Nope. It's boned.
UPDATE: 2
Working again, I loooove technology.

A little tease

The fearless Shea Kelli updates the viewers on crew issues,
deep underground in Costa Rica for an upcoming episode of SRWT.

Orange alert

We aren't going to China anymore,
But it could be a good thing.
Today's Godzilla Index was abnormally high,
with a 60% chance of Dragons.

A note to the computers in my life.

I know you can hurt me,
more than i can hurt you, but,
I had better get some cooperation
pretty soon.

Kid in a (virtual) candy store

Every time I render something, i have a moment to explore my new platform. Like its built-in surveillance camera.

Where the hell is...

Bali ?
The latest and possibly greatest SRWT destination yet.
Thanks to wikipedia for the public domain image,
which I couldn't help but use.

that i am fairly scrupulous about sending them.
Time permitting.

I think I'm getting the hang of this thing

It's amazing the amount of time it takes to do a "simple" upgrade.

Space Program

New equipment in place.
All the appropriate systems seem to be GO !
With some gains in deskspace and floorspace.

This doesn't mean that I want company, Chloe.

Time flies

It's been observed here and there, that if nothing happens, why talk about it ?
Is it Monday already ?
Oh yeah,
I bought another computer today,
for a bit less than i spent on my car.

Full disclosure

Shea hasn't been feeling well. Apparently she picked up a parasite just like this one while in Costa Rica. Is there anything that this girl won't do for the cause ?
She's better now.

It just gets better.

You know those advertising devices where the "Mooninite" gives passers-by the finger in LEDs ?
You may recall that the city of Boston overreacted, shutting down the airport, and having the bomb squad blow the devices up around town.
Not only are the guys who made them looking at 10 years in prison for the "bomb-like"* devices...
but now a civilian has put one of them up for sale on eBay. Of course, eBay took the sale down as too controversial. This is the best advertising campaign EVER, if they can avoid the pokey.
Next best ad campaign is for the insurance company who put Justin Timberlake in the role of fry-cook. Next step, get the national association of fry-cooks to complain in the media. BINGO, your spot runs at least once, sometimes 3 or 4 times- inside the newscast on every channel. They haven't even run in the Stupidbowl yet, but I'll bet it's been seen by even more people already.
*bomb like- they had batteries, and wires. oooh scary.

Coming soon:
America's bold plan for Mooninite defense !!

It's fun to speculate on the possibilities

It would seem that we are still not quite sure
where we're going on spring break.
Funny, how watching Laura organize this thing
makes my job seem so much easier.
