Pop Shuvit

After a period of delightful recovery, we buzzed across town to a cool little recording studio called 3M. It has another name but it's a Malaysian tongue twister. Our local guide James, couldn't get it and he's a Malay speaker.
The band is a great bunch of guys, and in traditional band-style, the frontman was late. Being the flexible bunch that we are, we shot a bunch of interview bits one-on-one, discovering in the process that Shea REALLY excels in that format.
The musicians also jammed up a new song for SRWT. AJ demonstrated the proper facial expression for a Bass player, then Shea got a quick drum lesson from Rudy, and some DJ scratching coaching by Uno. JD wasted his breath denying that he's the funny one. It's going to be a superb segment.
We had to delay our departure for awhile to wait for the singer, Moots, but it was sure worth it... he ran in the door from his day job at the National Bank, and launched into a spirited couple of takes, then we FLEW out the door !
Thanks guys ! Check out PopShuvit.com for downloads and shots of Uno with a 'stache. Kudos to Denise for tracking these dudes down, and arranging the shoot.
