It was a scene right out of "1001 arabian nights". Cam kept wandering off to make friends and Eso Bond was getting nervous whenever Cam disappeared into another tiny shop. We'd find him a few minutes later, deep in conversation with somebody who spoke no English. The area is thick with coffee shops, jewellers, hawkers and beggars. It's a maze of narrow corridors open to the sky, not a place for the timid. Being with Eslam and Nana mitigated the worst of our fears...
