We went to the local caves this AM. They put us in helmets and rubber boots, but Robin and I couldn't have flashlights because we had no hands left over. A little odd, slogging through the water at booter-level, over slippery rocks, with no light of our own...Pretty cool but no place for our support crew who are a little bug-o-phobic, so they turned back pronto following the first "hey look at this cool bug" soundbite. Our guide Roman was pretty surprsed when the rest of us pulled the pin about a hundred feet further in... our cameras were totally fogged up, and really, TV needs some light. When he told us that we needed to crawl "just a little" through the water to get to the next big room that we wouldn't be able to shoot effectively, the decision was made to "Save the gear"
