Point form from the top of my head:
Japan=Kimonos,Highspeed trains,Cellular obsession, Geisha, Judo, Population, Empire, Kabuki, computers, calligraphy, Sushi, paper houses, shrines, snowboards, baseball, anime.
Korea=Kimchee, DMZ
Phillippines=Islands,political oppression, religion.
Maybe it's the countries that we DON'T know anything about, that are worthy.

I think that's the most profound statement yet...it's what we DON'T know that's so great.
It is so amazing to me to have the chance to learn so much about these places before we ever get there...this is MY dream job. I don't even really need to go.
But it's sure nice to go too!
