I have EVEN MORE in common with Jamaicans now.
The Jamaican Dogsled team is competing in a series of races here in Canada. If you want to see the team (which was featured in Shea's Rockin' World Tour episode one Jamaica) check out CTV Newsnet or CKY news tonight at 6. It ran at noon, and with the hour-long 'cast, they'll probably run it again. Sadly, the musher's just doing it for exhibition, because their dogs weren't allowed into Canada.
The photo is a tribute to my old buddy Gebo, who passed away last summer.
I sure miss you buddy.

Song for Peace
Our thoughts are with our Kenyan friends right now. Normally I wouldn't post someone else's work here but Eric Wainaina's song calls for peace, and understanding among Kenyans... and it's a beautiful song also.
It's in Swahili, but I think the meaning is clear.

It's ALIVE !!
The D40x is alive, despite being submerged in the Caribbean while I was in Dominican Republic in January.
How I ended up in the soup with all my gear, is unclear, though discussed at some length here- Unky Duck's Rockin' World Tour: To the BEACH !
